Job Title: PKI Security Engineer

Our Client is looking for an experienced PKI Security Engineer to design, deploy, and manage enterprise-level Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) solutions that ensure secure digital identity and data protection across the organization. This role combines deep technical expertise with hands-on engineering and automation skills, ideal for someone who’s passionate about cybersecurity, cryptography, and system integrity.

What You’ll Do

Architect and manage PKI infrastructure including Certificate Authorities (CAs), Registration Authorities (RAs), and Hardware Security Modules (HSMs).
Implement and maintain certificate lifecycle management — from issuance and renewal to revocation and policy enforcement.
Automate PKI processes using scripting tools (PowerShell, Python, GitHub, .NET).
Integrate PKI solutions with authentication, identity, and access management systems.
Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and mitigate security risks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable, secure systems that align with organizational goals.
Lead key security initiatives leveraging automation, agile delivery, and deep cybersecurity knowledge.

What You’ll Bring

5+ years of hands-on experience in network, data, or cybersecurity engineering.
Strong understanding of PKI principles, certificate lifecycle management, and key security frameworks.
Expertise with tools such as Microsoft ADCS, Entrust, and Venafi.
Proven experience automating certificate management processes.
Proficiency in PowerShell and Python; experience with .NET and source control platforms preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills with the ability to translate technical topics for various stakeholders.

Bonus Points

Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, GIAC, or Security+.
Background in designing and deploying large-scale, high-availability PKI systems.
