Role: Project Manager (Cybersecurity Programs)

Location: Atlanta, GA 30324

Duration: 6-12 months+ contract

Department & Reporting Line

Information Security Department; reports to CISO

Position Summary/Purpose

Manage cybersecurity projects from initiation through closeout and ensure deliverables are met. Capital -funded and grant-funded projects ( e.g, DHS, TSA, FTA)

Key Responsibilities

Lead project lifecycle, budget preparation, scheduling, contract coordination, task tracking, risk management, and outcome documentation
Facilitate RFP development, vendor evaluations, and procurement processes in partnership with MARTA’s procurement and legal departments
Provide executive report briefings for internal leadership and external oversight bodies (DHS, FEMA, FTA)

Qualifications (summary)

Bachelor’s in business administration/ Cybersecurity/Information Technology or related;6+ years with minimum 3+ years overseeing IT or cybersecurity-related projects. Project Management Professional required( PMP)/Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), CompTIA Project+, or PMI-ACP

Preferred Qualifications

Experience managing cybersecurity projects with TSA, SD 1582/21, DHS Cybersecurity Performance Goals, or NIST 800-53 standards. Federally funded projects (e.g., DHS Transit Security Grant Program), cloud migration initiatives, or OT security infrastructure deployments is highly desirable.

Detail orientation, analytical rigor, stakeholder communication, ethics/confidentiality.

Working Conditions & Clearance

On-site presence for Project milestones; DHS Public Trust eligibility
