Principal Duties & Responsibilities

Deploy, configure, and manage Oracle Cloud Guard (CSPM) to ensure continuous compliance and security posture management.

Perform annual security assessments of Oracle Cloud environments to identify gaps and recommend improvements.

Deploy, configure, and manage Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS) within Oracle Cloud infrastructure.

Integrate Oracle Cloud with third-party security technologies, including:

IVX Cloud (sandboxing solutions)
ArcSight (log management)
Other emerging security tools and technologies as needed.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security controls align with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.

Monitor and maintain security configurations to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Minimum Qualifications

Experience:

Minimum 7+ years in IT/Cybersecurity, with strong expertise in Oracle Cloud security architecture and CSPM tools.

Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Guard, IPS deployment, and integration with SIEM/logging tools (e.g., ArcSight).

Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge of cloud security protocols, configuration management, and risk mitigation strategies.

Familiarity with sandboxing technologies, SIEM platforms, and emerging security solutions.

Understanding of network security architecture, intrusion prevention, and vulnerability management.

Certifications (Preferred): CISSP, CISM, or equivalent.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
