We are recruiting, on behalf of one of our clients, an "Offshore Geotechnical Package Manager” based in Port-La-Nouvelle (France).
“Offshore Geotechnical Package Manager (M/F)”: What will your missions and responsibilities be?
Scope and Objectives
Develop and manage all geotechnical engineering and procurement activities (wind farm and export cable) to achieve project milestones within budget
Coordinate effectively with the project team across all relevant work packages, as well as with external stakeholders
Liaise with internal and external consultants, ensuring technical oversight, alignment on schedule, and adequate resources where required
Lead geotechnical site investigation campaigns from initial scoping and tendering through to execution and certification
Manage and mitigate geotechnical risks to maintain them within acceptable thresholds at each development stage (e.g., pre-consents, pre-CfD, pre-FC, post-FC)
Identify and implement solutions to optimise the geotechnical expenditure profile, taking into account risk evolution over time
Play a key role in the design and procurement of seabed assets, including OSS foundations, FOW anchors, cables, and related infrastructure
Contribute to building and consolidating the Client’s geotechnical knowledge base throughout the project lifecycle

Technical Requirements
Lead geotechnical engineering and procurement for wind farms and export cables, ensuring milestones are met within budget
Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and stakeholders on technical, schedule, and resource matters
Manage geotechnical risks across all development stages and optimise expenditure over time.
Apply advanced geotechnical knowledge within the project context
Familiar with relevant standards, including IEC 61400-3-2, DNV-ST-0126, DNV-RP-C212, DNV-SE-0190, and LR-RP-003
Support consolidation of the Client’s geotechnical knowledge base
