Senior Embedded Systems Engineer - Industrial (Boston, MA)
Full-time, On-site commitment required.
Base Salary: $140,000 - $180,000 per year, plus comprehensive benefits.
We are partnering with a high-growth, well-funded technology firm-the pioneer in the Industrial?IoT space. Our client is building the next generation of sensing and edge-compute platforms transforming foundational industries globally. This is a critical, high-impact role for a hands-on engineer ready to own the core technology. The Role: Core Firmware Ownership
Senior Embedded Software Engineer responsible for driving the development of reliable, high-performance firmware for devices deployed in complex industrial environments, including pharmaceuticals. Technical Requirements
C/C+: Expert-level Embedded software development.
RTOS: Deep experience with Real-Time Operating Systems (eg, Zephyr or similar).
Protocols: Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Ethernet/IP, etc.).
Security: Experience with secure boot, OTA updates, and secure communication pipelines. The Ideal Candidate
High-caliber engineer with a track record of delivering robust, production-ready code.
Experience in high-compliance or process-driven industries; pharmaceutical experience is a strong plus.
Prior work with advanced sensor technologies and low-level I/O.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, autonomous environment. Compensation & Next Steps
