Freelance Maintenance Technician (Mechanical / Electrical / Automation) - Brittany, France

The Opportunity

We are recruiting freelance maintenance technicians to support a highly automated industrial production site located in Brittany. This site is a center of excellence in its field, combining traditional know-how with Industry 4.0 technologies, including automation, advanced machinery, and data-driven performance tools.

Your Mission

As part of an on-site maintenance team, you will intervene across modern production lines and equipment. Your responsibilities include

Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment
Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and/or automation issues
Improving line reliability and performance through targeted technical interventions
Supporting the installation and commissioning of new equipment
Working closely with production and engineering teams to ensure smooth operations

You’ll operate in an environment where precision, traceability, and performance are key priorities

Technical Environment

Automated and semi-automated production lines
Mechanical systems, electrical installations, PLCs
Continuous improvement mindset
Industry 4.0 tools and modern machinery

⏱ Flexibility & Work Organization

This role is designed with freelancers in mind:

Fixed shift options: morning, daytime, or afternoon
Work 4 or 5 days per week, depending on availability
On-site assignment with a collaborative team
Possibility of recurring or extended missions

Profile Sought

Independent / freelance technician
Technical background in maintenance, mechanics, electrotechnics, or automation
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work autonomously
Comfortable working in a team-based industrial environment
Reliable, proactive, and solution-oriented
Multi-skilled profiles (mechanical + electrical / automation) are highly valued.
