Job Specifications

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable data integration solutions using Databricks and Azure.
Lead Unity Catalog implementation to establish centralized governance and metadata management.
Oversee migration of legacy data flows into the new corporate data platform.
Define and enforce data governance policies, standards, and best practices.
Collaborate with stakeholders across business and IT to align data strategy with organizational goals.
Ensure data quality through monitoring, validation, and remediation processes.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams during implementation.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong expertise in Databricks (including Unity Catalog) and Azure Data Services.
Proven experience in data integration, governance, and metadata management.
Hands-on background in data architecture and migration projects.
Solid understanding of data quality frameworks and compliance requirements.
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience with Azure Synapse
Strong programming skills in Python (PySpark), SQL, and scripting tools
Experience with data governance frameworks and metadata management
Familiarity with data quality monitoring, anomaly detection, and remediation workflows
Experience with visualization tools
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices

Languages

Mandatory - One of French or Dutch
