Grey London is on a mission to create the most influential brands of the next decade, through the power of Famously Effective ideas.

Famously Effective ideas extend far beyond the confines of advertising or marketing channels. They stretch our potential influence into wider culture – by breaking norms, smashing stereotypes, saving lives, changing minds, writing history, shifting conversations, and transforming perspectives.

More than just our tagline, Famously Effective is a shared global philosophy that has guided everything Grey has done since our founding more than 100 years ago. Today, more than 150 people work in our London office, with nearly 3,000 more throughout our global network.

We are looking for a mid-weight Project Manager to join our team of change-makers on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract. You will join the Project Management department and will be working with Senior Project Managers and Project Directors across various accounts. You will also have the opportunity to be the operational lead of your own account.

As well as being the master of timelines and status sheets, you will be the glue between your team members, ensuring you create and uphold structures that work for your team and your client. You will need to have an interest in creativity and design, as well as a natural urge to be proactive and a desire to be part of a positive work culture.

Day-to-day, You’ll Be Getting Involved And Leading

Project plans – you will be the creator and holder of all process documents, WoW, status sheets, timelines and project plans. On occasion, you will be on hand to partner with the Account Leadership team in creating project scope of work proposals.

Resource management & planning – you will work closely with the agency Resource Manager to allocate & manage the time for those who are involved in delivering projects for your brands. You’ll need to ensure there’s ample time allocated for the work in scope and share clear communications with the team on client expectations and delivery dates.
Financial management & ownership – to ensure we are able to stay within budget, you will be responsible for managing estimates, purchasing, invoice approvals, tracking burn against timesheets, along with keeping on top of third-party costs.
End-to-end delivery – you will arrange & lead kick off and creative review meetings, helping manage projects through to delivery, which will include a range of assets (i.e. global toolkits, digital assets, OOH, POSM, print assets and TVCs and radio assets).
Production support – when applicable to your projects, you will support the Production team, which may mean you’re involved in running small-scale production projects (e.g. stills shoots, post-prod projects).

The Accounts

Our Project Managers at Grey cover an exciting client portfolio, often at both a local and global market level. The brands are highly strategic, with demanding business challenges that require creative problem-solving and consumer-centric thinking. As we progress through the application and interviews, we’ll share a little more about the clients you’ll be supporting.

The Skills & Capabilities We’re Looking For Are

Open & communicative – you will be comfortable communicating around project needs in terms of resource with the Head of Resourcing and Project Leads, alerting team leads ahead of time if additional support is needed
Creative – you will have a natural creative flair and problem solving ability, as well as having a good understanding of the creative, production and design process with an interest of deepening your knowledge
Process management – you will be confident in suggesting / leading new team structures where there is opportunity to have a better WoW or become more efficient
