Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Junior Software Engineer to join our remote team in Bohemia, NY. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the design, development, testing, and deployment of game software solutions. You will work closely with a team of developers, contribute to backend web development tasks, and write clean, efficient, and maintainable code. Additionally, you will collaborate on debugging and optimizing software to ensure high performance and reliability. As a part of the role a systems‑design partnership is needed including reading the architecture, spot the pressure points, and surface the things that are most likely to be causing issues or that could be improved.

Qualifications

Strong foundation in Computer Science principles and Software Development
Experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) methodologies
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative development environment
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Familiarity with version control systems like Git is a plus
Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, innovative environment
