Job Description

Position Title: Software Engineer II

Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting contract Software Engineer II opportunity located in Redmond, WA.

Job Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain AWS Lambda functions using Python.
Build and enhance REST APIs using API Gateway.
Work with DynamoDB for data storage and retrieval.
Implement frontend features for asset tracking and management
Write comprehensive unit and integration tests
Participate in code reviews and maintain high code quality standards
Support production deployments and troubleshooting.

Job Qualifications:

Python: 3+ years of professional experience.
AWS Services: Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, AppConfig, SQS, SNS.
Infrastructure as Code: AWS CDK experience preferred
API Development: RESTful services and JSON handling
Database: NoSQL databases, preferably DynamoDB
Version Control: Git workflows and code review processes
Testing: Unit testing frameworks (pytest preferred)

Job Details:

Job Type: Contract
Location: Redmond, WA.
Pay Rate Range: $75-85/hr.
