Role Summary
Awakn is offering a paid Data Analysis Internship. This is a remote, part-time internship designed for students or recent graduates who want hands-on experience working with real datasets and business analytics projects.
The internship is ideal for individuals looking to build practical data skills, gain exposure to professional analytics workflows, and work under guidance from experienced analysts.
This role is open to candidates across the UK, including (but not limited to) Leeds, Manchester, London, Glasgow, Birmingham, and other regions.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with collecting, cleaning, and preparing datasets for analysis.
Perform basic data analysis using Excel, and where applicable SQL or Python.
Support the creation of reports, summaries, and simple dashboards.
Help identify trends, patterns, and insights within datasets.
Maintain clear documentation of data and analytical work.
Collaborate remotely with team members on assigned tasks.
Required Qualifications
Currently studying or recently graduated in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Good working knowledge of Excel; familiarity with SQL or Python is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail and an analytical mindset.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage time effectively while working remotely.
Preferred Skills
Exposure to BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
Experience with academic, personal, or internship-related data projects.
Interest in analytics, reporting, and data-driven problem solving.
Compensation and Working Hours
Paid internship – £16 per hour (hourly equivalent)
20 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Flexible working hours within business time
