QA Scientist Analyst

Location: Worthing (Fully On-Site)

Contract Length: 6 months

Pay Rate: £16.92 per hour

Job Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a QA Scientist Analyst to join the QA Technical Support Team in Worthing. This role will provide analytical and technical support to QA and wider site operations, contributing to investigations, plant trials, validation activities, and non-routine testing. The successful candidate will support the site’s analytical capability while ensuring full compliance with cGxP requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Provide analytical technical support to QA and site operations
Investigate issues related to analytical methods and instrumentation
Support plant trials and validation activities with analytical expertise
Perform non-routine analytical testing as required
Prepare, interpret, and present technical reports
Carry out additional duties as assigned by the QA Technical Support Team Leader

Essential Skills & Experience

Experience working in a cGxP-regulated environment
Background in a pharmaceutical GMP setting (QA, Development, or R&D)
Hands-on experience with analytical techniques including:
Chromatography
Spectroscopy
Electrochemical techniques
Physical testing methods
Strong planning, organisational, and time management skills
Ability to analyse data, solve problems, and communicate effectively
Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with business units and contractors
Good working knowledge of IT systems
Well-developed verbal, written, numerical, and presentation skills
