Our programme in a nutshell

Our six-month Off-Cycle Internship Programme will start in May/June and offers an introduction to working in wealth management. You will work alongside multiple teams within Hottinger, gaining practical, hands-on experience while you learn how our business operates. Throughout the programme, you will refine core skills, gain exposure to client work and investment processes, develop industry knowledge, and build meaningful professional relationships, all while contributing to the future success of the firm.

You will support the senior management team on projects which may include system integration, marketing and event planning and data and investment analysis.

What we are looking for

We are looking for high-performing individuals who are in the penultimate or final year of university or are recent graduates. You do not need a degree in finance to apply, but we are looking for applicants with a genuine interest in wealth management. You should be proactive, willing to take responsibility, and comfortable adapting to new challenges. Strong communication skills, attention to detail and a collaborative mindset are essential, along with curiosity, drive, and a willingness to learn.

Key requirements

You achieved or are on track to achieve a 2:1 or above

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

• Consistent performance in A-levels and GSCEs including Maths and English at Grade 6/B)

• Knowledge or prior experience of data analytics

Desirable (not essential)

• Prior internship experience (financial or non-financial)

• Demonstrated interest in investment, economics, finance or entrepreneurship

• Experience working in teams or delivering projects
