Job Specifications

Role- DR Architect

Location- Toronto, Canada

Must-have

Senior Operational experience with either windows or Linux, and a functional understanding of both
Good experience with resiliency design including clusters, high availability, and failover.
Good experience with Disaster Recovery including design, exercise planning and execution
Good Understanding of IT infrastructure including virtualization, databases, SAN and NAS storage, messaging, networking and cloud

Nice to have

Scripting and automation using ansible or similar tools
Experience with ServiceNow, Jira tools
Familiarity with multi-tier application design
Participate with Disaster recovery team on exercises and contribute recommendations on continuous improvement
Partner with the ITSM team to monitor incident and problem tickets and participate in root cause analysis to specify resiliency or DR factors
Research and remain current on multiple technology platforms
