An exciting opportunity has arisen within a market leading technology firm who service the insurance sector. This Data Governance Lead/Data Governance Manager role is a new position which has been created in order to enable the organisation to continue their journey moving away from Legacy technology and towards a single-source-of-truth data model.

The Data Governance Lead/Data Governance Manager will initially be responsible for managing two members of the data team and will be pivotal in leading and embedding data governance practices, with particular focus on Master Data Management (MDM), Reference Data Management (RDM), Metadata management and Data lineage.

There is no requirement to work in the office as the role can be fully remote.

We are looking for someone who:

Has proven experience in a Data Governance Lead or Manager role
Has previous responsibility for MDM, RDM, metadata management and data lineage within a previous role
Has worked within the insurance sector previously
Ideally has some experience or knowledge of Actuarial or Claims departments
Has previous experience building data definitions and business glossaries
