Software Developer, AS400, RPG (Contract Position)

Number of Positions: 1 Duration: 12 months

Location: Toronto, ON, CA

Must be eligible to work in Canada

Hybrid position, 3-4d/w onsite in Toronto mandatory

Roles and responsibilities:

• Looking for an Individual with advanced knowledge of AS400 skill sets (in Integrated Language Environment coding including ILE RPG, SQLRPGI, Modules, Service Program, Binding Directory, etc.) that can work independently with minimum hand holding.

• Significant work efforts that require SME to hand out works to developers with solid skills

Application Design and Development

Experienced with IBM AS400 RPG development from RPG III to ILE RPG

Experienced with IBM AS400 Control Language development from CLP to ILE-CL

Experienced with IBM AS400 DB2 development from external described PF LF to legacy internal described file processing

Experienced with IBM AS400 Programming Development Manager and Query

Application Programming Developer responsible for Development and Unit Testing responsibilities

Good communication and stakeholder engagement skill

Must skills/experience/qualifications:

5-10+yrs of the following:

IBM AS400 RPG

IBM AS400 Control Language development from CLP to ILE-CL
