As a ServiceNow Developer, you'll play a key role in enhancing how we design, build, and deliver technology solutions. We're expanding our ServiceNow development team to support both our internal functions and our external facing Tech & Service department. Softcat is already well underway with a multi-phase, multi-year investment in ServiceNow — providing an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual to apply their existing expertise while exploring and utilising new features as the platform continues to evolve.
As ServiceNow Developer you'll be responsible for:
Build, configure, and enhance ServiceNow applications, modules, and workflows to support internal business functions.
Develop and maintain client scripts, UI policies, Flow Designer flows, and business rules to automate processes and improve user experience.
Partner with the platform owner, process owners and stakeholders across departments to understand business challenges and translate them into effective ServiceNow solutions.
Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and other core internal systems using APIs, IntegrationHub, or other tools.
Contribute to internal documentation, standards, and best practices to support the maturity of the ServiceNow function.
We'd love you to have:
Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer, ideally in an internal or enterprise environment.
Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, data model, and core modules such as ITSM, ITOM, CSM and TPSM.
Skilled in JavaScript, Flow Designer, UI Policies, Client Scripts, and Business Rules.
Experience with Web Technologies and platform integration methods (Hub & Spoke methodology).
Experience with ServiceNow integrations (REST, SOAP, or IntegrationHub).
