Job Specifications

Position: Exceptional Software Engineer (Experience Using Agents)

Type: Hourly contract

Compensation: $70–$110/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

Build and maintain high-performance software systems that interface with advanced AI models.
Configure development environments and manage scalable backend infrastructure.
Design and implement robust APIs and service layers for production-grade applications.
Architect and optimize complex database schemas for performance and scalability.
Apply coding agents as part of the software development workflow to improve speed and quality.
Work with large, owned codebases to deliver reliable, maintainable solutions.
Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and engineers to support next-generation ML systems.

Requirements

Elite software engineering experience in high-performance environments.
Hands-on experience using coding agents in real-world development workflows.
Strong ownership over large codebases and complex systems.
Computer Science degree from a prestigious university in the U.S., Canada, or the UK.
Expert-level proficiency in API development, testing, and integration.
Advanced SQL skills and strong experience with database design and structuring.
Proven ability to lead or contribute to complex backend and data architecture initiatives.
Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and communication skills.
