Summary
The IT Project Manager is responsible for planning, leading, and delivering IT application projects in an international environment, ensuring delivery within defined scope, budget, and timelines. The role involves close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders and alignment with Program and Portfolio Managers for projects that are part of larger programs.
The position focuses primarily on IT application initiatives such as ERP (SAP), MES, cloud solutions, system integrations, and eCommerce platforms.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage IT projects with full accountability for scope, budget, quality, and schedule.
Support analysis and formalization of business requirements; define project objectives and scope.
Develop, maintain, and execute detailed project plans.
Guide project team members and coordinate task assignments.
Define, track, and manage milestones and deliverables.
Identify project risks and issues; propose and implement mitigation strategies.
Manage unforeseen issues and delays; realign schedules and stakeholder expectations as required.
Ensure adherence to IT security policies and standards defined by the Global IT PMO.
Lead steering committee meetings and governance forums.
Establish and execute project communication plans; provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
Assess business impact of IT initiatives and manage change management activities.
Coordinate internal and external stakeholders across geographies.
Organize project meetings and assign responsibilities to team members.
Use project management tools to monitor progress, performance, and reporting.
Required Skills
Experience leading projects or programs in the eCommerce domain (e.g., customer portals).
Experience with platforms such as Salesforce, Adobe Commerce, SAP Commerce Cloud.
Strong experience in system integration across Website, CRM, ERP, and Marketing Automation platforms.
Understanding of B2B vs. B2C eCommerce architectures and integrations.
Previous experience in the Pharma industry.
Knowledge of validation of GxP-relevant computerized systems.
Agile certifications (Scrum Master, SAFe, etc.).
Project Management certification (PMP preferred).
Overall program and portfolio management exposure.
Strong experience in IT project and program management.
Proven delivery experience in complex, international environments.
Fluency in English (mandatory).
Solid understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
Hands-on experience with Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery models.
Proficiency with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira).
Experience using project management tools.
Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills.
Strong analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to motivate and lead cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
Ability to quickly adapt to and learn new enterprise and industry-specific software tools.
