Solution Architect – DV Cleared – East Kilbride, Scotland

Inside IR35 – 12 Month Contract – Day rate £upto850

Active DV/SC clearance is required for this role

A Solution Architect is required for a leading client in East Kilbride. The ideal candidate will have active DV/SC Clearance and provide strategic technical leadership across major programs and business areas. Responsibilities include ensuring architectural alignment with organisational goals, overseeing technical delivery, mentoring solution architects, and serving as the final escalation point for architectural decisions.

Key skills and responsibilities,

Active DV/SC Clearance
Extensive experience in Solution Architecture
In-depth knowledge of Identity and Access Management
Expertise in Google Cloud, including designing and implementing cloud solutions
Hands-on experience in technical and solution architecture and design, acquired through involvement in programmes, projects, or product-centric organisations, across both agile and waterfall methodologies
Demonstrated ability to lead and influence stakeholders effectively
Lead the development and maintenance of architecture governance frameworks, encompassing decision-making processes and assurance models
Create and maintain reusable architecture templates, standards, and reference models
Define and assure high-level solution designs that fulfil business and technical requirements
Review and approve architectural artefacts, ensuring they are fit for purpose and adhere to relevant standards
Proficient in software-defined networking, storage, and compute solutions, including virtualization technologies
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure architectural compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and strategic objectives
Oversee technical delivery of solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture principles and organisational strategic goals
Guide solution architects and promote ongoing architectural excellence.
