Job Specifications

Full Stack Engineer (Python/Vue.js) - London - 3 days per week in office - Med-Tech - Up to £110,00 p/a

Christopher Ali have partnered with an innovative Med-Tech company who are using cutting edge AI decrease bottlenecks in modern medicine.

They are looking for a founding Full-Stack Engineer who excels working across back-end systems and front-end experiences. You should be comfortable moving between them and taking ownership end-to-end. As you'll be involved in deploying those systems you will need to ensure they run reliably in cloud-based environments (AWS) and scale with demand.

Experience working in the life sciences sector/med-tech company would be beneficial.

The role will require 3 days working in the office in Central London.

Day to day :

Design and build back-end services and APIs in Python (FastAPI) that power the core platform.
Develop front-end components in Vue.js, translating complex data and AI outputs into clear, intuitive user experiences.
Own features end-to-end, from data models and API contracts through to UI flows, interactions, and demos of early-stage features.
Transform prototypes into production systems, including ingestion pipelines, embedding workflows, recommendation components, and AI-powered extraction or retrieval workflows.
Build performant, reliable APIs supporting semantic search, clustering, and protocol-support tools.
Apply strong product and UX judgment, proactively identifying friction in workflows, tooling, and interfaces and improving them.
Deploy and operate infrastructure on AWS, working with containerised services and cloud resources.
Be deeply hands-on and creative, influencing technical direction, team standards, tooling, and how the engineering organisation evolves.

Skills Required :

At least 5 years Python engineering experience (Ideally with real world experience building production services).
Experience with Fast API, Flask or equivalent
Exposure to Vue.js or React.js
Degree in Computer Science or a related field. Exceptional hands-on experience can substitute.
Exposure to graph databases such as Neo4j.
AWS experience with at least EC2, S3, IAM, and networking basics.
Docker and Docker Compose fluency.
Basic familiarity with embeddings, LLM APIs, or vector search frameworks.
