Position: Computer & Information Systems Manager

Type: Hourly contract

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage end-to-end computer and information systems aligned with organizational goals.
Lead and mentor IT teams, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
Oversee system security, data integrity, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions and projects.
Evaluate and recommend technologies, platforms, and vendors to enhance system capabilities.
Develop and maintain IT documentation, policies, procedures, and disaster recovery plans.
Ensure clear, timely communication across teams, providing technical guidance and updates.

Requirements

Strong experience managing complex computer and information systems in medium to large organizations.
Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, software development lifecycle, and cybersecurity best practices.
Experience with IT governance, compliance, and risk management.
Proven leadership ability with experience managing cross-functional teams and multiple projects.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
Comfortable working independently in a remote, distributed environment.
