Real Intent is a 15 month-old startup servicing thousands of small business operators, primarily real estate agents, with a predictive data platform that identifies and targets their next deals. Real Intent is founded and operated by Standard (standard.ad).

Role Description

This is a paid, part-time role for a Python Engineering Intern. The intern will assist with developing and maintaining Python projects, debugging and testing code, and collaborating with senior engineers on various tasks. The intern will also be responsible for writing and maintaining technical documentation and participating in code reviews.

This is a high agency role. You are bounded only by yourself, and will have the opportunity to delve into company building, GTM, and operations.

(Remote, unless you're in NYC already.)

Qualifications

Proficiency in Python programming, including abstract base classes, Pydantic, FastAPI (prepare for deep intuitive questioning on these frameworks, and software design)
Understanding of efficient debugging, testing, and maintaining of code, along with an understanding of SDKs and REST API structures
Ownership mindset, strong work ethic
Strong GitHub profile, proficiency with git, PRs, branch control
Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Not required if strong skills demonstrated
Experience in ML and/or deep data science is a plus
