Principal Program Manager – Network, Hosting & Storage Portfolio

Contract (T4 Only) | 6 Months | British Columbia

Engagement Type: T4 Contractors Only
Location: British Columbia
Duration: 6 months

Core Responsibilities

Lead portfolio planning and execution across Cloud & Data Center Networks, Campus Networks, Hosting/Storage/Backup, and DevOps Networking
Own capacity planning (demand vs. supply), proactively identifying gaps and driving mitigation through sequencing, resourcing, or scope trade-offs
Drive end-to-end delivery, including milestones, dependencies, RAID management, and cross-team coordination
Establish and maintain a strong operating rhythm through weekly delivery reviews and monthly portfolio governance
Deliver executive-ready reporting, dashboards, and status updates that provide clear visibility into progress and risk

Programs You’ll Lead

Cloud Network Optimization: CloudWAN rollouts, network consolidations, and cost optimization initiatives
Infrastructure Hosting Strategy: Data center migrations and exits aligned with Finance and leadership commitments
Network Observability & Reliability: Network health monitoring, SLA tracking, and availability dashboards
Identity-Based Network Access: Certificate-based and passwordless wireless access, including partial IoT enablement
IPv6 Enablement: Scaling infrastructure to support global region expansion
Campus Wireless Modernization: WiFi 7 deployments, guest WiFi, and campus technology refreshes
Cloud Edge Rollouts

What You Bring

10+ years of program management experience in infrastructure, network, cloud, or platform environments
Proven success managing large, multi-team portfolios with complex dependencies and constrained capacity
Strong analytical, planning, and communication skills with the ability to influence senior technical stakeholders
Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence
Familiarity with reporting and dashboard tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Airtable (preferred)
