We’re Hiring: Technical Data Analyst – GDS Data & Systems Strategy

Location: Ontario (VPC preferred; Toronto–Windsor acceptable)

Hybrid: In-office Mon/Tues/Thurs | Remote Wed/Fri

Description:

We’re seeking a contractor to support high‑priority initiatives in data governance, records management, and business case prioritization. This role will help set up a cross‑functional governance group, deliver quick records improvements, build end‑to‑end process views, and prepare decision‑ready materials for leadership.

What You’ll Do

Support a cross‑functional data governance group
Build action plans for records improvements
Map end‑to‑end processes and draft business case content
Organize and summarize LDC business cases for prioritization

What We’re Looking For

Post‑secondary education in Business, IS, CS, Data/Analytics, or related
0–4+ years in data, systems, or process improvement
Strong stakeholder management & facilitation skills
Knowledge of data governance and process mapping
Excellent communication; proficiency in Excel (Power Query) & Power BI

Nice‑to‑have: Records management exposure, GenAI/AI/ML familiarity, change management, cloud/data platforms.
