Social Media Executive (Paid Internship)

Statz is growing fast, and we’re looking for a sports-obsessed social media manager to help us scale our channels during a huge period for cricket and football - including the IPL and the Football World Cup

This is a hands-on, creative role with real responsibility and room to grow.

We want a self-starter, who can take direction and run with it and is confident working autonomously.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll own our social presence across:

X (Twitter)
Instagram
TikTok
Telegram

You'll create Blog posts based on Statz and CricStatz content and data

You'll lead the Social strategy around our new F2P game

Your role will include:

Daily posting and content scheduling
Growing engagement, reach, and followers
Creating content around live matches (T20 WC, IPL, football)
Jumping on trends and turning data into shareable content
Helping grow and manage our Telegram channel
Developing Statz’s tone, voice, and social identity

What We’re Looking For

Sports obsessed (football + cricket especially)
Social Media - just gets it. Our founders are 40-something, they're not the people to be posting on our channels!
Comfortable with sports betting concepts & odds
Creative and full of content ideas
Experience running or growing social media accounts
Happy working around live sport (evenings/weekends)
Self-starter who can work independently. We will give you the keys, arm you with content and full autonomy.

Bonus Points

TikTok video creation/ channel management experience
SEO expertise; Search Console, AHrefs, Screaming Frog
Telegram channel management
Demonstrable growth of channels
Demonstrable self-starter attitude
Passion for sports betting, fantasy, or analytics content

Role Details

Paid position. Remote.
c.25~30 hours per week depending on sporting schedule
Flexible schedule (not 9–5)
Some evening & weekend work expected
Start date: ASAP
Initial 1–3 month internship, with potential to extend for the right person to extend to a full-time position
