About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Infrastructure Network Support Engineer to support and maintain network and infrastructure systems. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates with foundational networking and infrastructure knowledge who are eager to gain hands-on experience in enterprise IT environments.

You will work under the guidance of senior engineers to ensure network availability, performance, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in monitoring and supporting network and infrastructure environments
Support network devices such as switches, routers, and firewalls
Troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi)
Assist with server, infrastructure, and system support tasks
Respond to infrastructure and network-related incidents and service requests
Assist with network installations, upgrades, and configuration activities
Maintain network and infrastructure documentation
Follow security, compliance, and operational best practices
Escalate complex issues to senior engineers

Required Skills & Qualifications

Basic understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, OSI model, DNS, DHCP)
Familiarity with LAN, WAN, and wireless networking concepts
Basic knowledge of Windows and/or Linux fundamentals
Understanding of network hardware (switches, routers, firewalls)
Willingness to learn infrastructure and network operations
Good troubleshooting and analytical skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred (Not Mandatory)

Entry-level certification or training (CCNA, Network+, or equivalent – completed or in progress)
Hands-on lab, academic, or internship experience with networks
Exposure to virtualisation or server environments
Basic knowledge of cloud networking concepts (Azure or AWS fundamentals)
