Join an innovative wireless communications company – Cambridge, Hybrid Working Model

This growing engineering team is developing next-generation 5G Fixed Wireless Access products, delivering high-speed connectivity to rural and hard-to-reach locations worldwide. They are now looking for a Junior Embedded Software Engineer to support the development of embedded software across Linux-based 5G platforms as part of a collaborative R&D team.

You’ll work closely with senior engineers, contributing to new features, performance improvements and bug fixes across embedded systems that sit at the heart of cutting-edge wireless products.

For this Junior Embedded Software Engineer role, we are looking for someone with:

Foundational experience developing embedded software in C/C++
Exposure to Linux-based development environments
Understanding of embedded debugging techniques and a strong willingness to learn
Interest in wireless technologies
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
