Our client is a well-known retail business, specialising in a unique approach to luxury fashion.

The company now has an opportunity for a Marketing Lawyer to join its legal team for 12 months (the position is covering for family leave.)

The Opportunity - Commercial & Marketing Lawyer

Whilst the role is broadly general commercial in nature, you will be the lawyer for the marketing team. The business has a highly entrepreneurial ethos and offers its international client base a truly digital experience, in addition to its more traditional retail experience. As a result, you will play a key role in supporting marketing and digital - this will involve working on and providing legal support to advertising campaigns, advising on marketing and consumer law, supporting digital marketing initiatives, negotiating influencer agreement and providing pricing and product advice.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a highly successful international retail business and as part of a collegiate and business facing legal team for 12 months.

About You

Th position will suit a Commercial lawyer with marketing, consumer law and advertising experience who is interested in joining an international and entrepreneurial consumer business with a luxury focus. You will need to be able to demonstrate sound commercial contracting skills, an understanding of marketing and digital matters as well as some exposure to data privacy. The ability to build a strong relationships as well as an awareness of what is required when working with an international brand is also key.

This is a rare and unique opportunity to join a high profile retail business in a key role for the legal team and the business.

The role is for 12 months and with ideally a start date of March.
