About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our Hosting Experience team. This role focuses on delivering exceptional web hosting experiences for Website Designers and Developers by developing innovative, scalable, and high-performance frontend solutions. As a key member of the team, you will be instrumental in shaping customer-facing products related to web hosting and AI-driven customer tooling. Your expertise will help drive business growth, enhance user engagement, and foster a culture of technical excellence. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior engineers, and advocate for the adoption of emerging frontend technologies to ensure our products remain at the forefront of the industry. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work remotely from the United Kingdom, contributing to impactful projects that empower entrepreneurs worldwide.
Qualifications
5+ years of professional frontend development experience
Strong proficiency with React (CSR & SSR), NodeJS, and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
Experience with API-driven design, particularly REST APIs
Proficiency with frontend build tools such as Webpack and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
Solid understanding of core web technologies including CSS3, HTML5, and relevant design patterns
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within teams and lead initiatives
Experience with version control systems, especially Git and Git workflows
Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy scalable, high-performance frontend applications using modern JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and NodeJS
Lead frontend architecture decisions to ensure seamless, intuitive user experiences across products
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver innovative solutions
Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence
Stay current with emerging frontend technologies and advocate for their adoption within the team
Participate in code reviews, ensuring high-quality, maintainable, and secure codebases
Engage in DevOps activities such as deployment, monitoring, and incident response to support product stability
