Senior Software Engineer (TypeScript | AWS)

London (hybrid: 2-3 days onsite)

Full‑time, permanent

£90,000–£110,000 + benefits

You’ll work in a modern engineering environment, shaping scalable cloud‑native systems and contributing to a platform used by thousands of patients and clinicians.

Tech you will work with:

TypeScript (Node.js, React or similar)
AWS (Lambda, ECS/Fargate, DynamoDB, API Gateway, SQS/SNS)
Serverless & event‑driven architectures
Docker & containerised services
CI/CD (GitHub Actions, CircleCI, etc.)
Infrastructure‑as‑code (CDK, CloudFormation)

What you will do as a Senior Software Engineer:

Build and scale high‑quality services using TypeScript and AWS
Design cloud‑native, secure, and resilient systems
Collaborate with product, design, and clinical teams
Influence architectural decisions and long‑term technical strategy
Drive engineering best practices across testing, observability, and CI/CD
Mentor engineers and contribute to a positive engineering culture

What we are looking for in Senior Software Engineers:

Strong commercial experience with TypeScript
Solid hands‑on experience with AWS
Background in distributed systems, APIs, or event‑driven architectures
Pragmatic problem‑solver who enjoys ownership
