Job Specifications

Essential
Proven experience as a Test Manager or Senior Test Lead within government or large-scale digital environments.
Strong understanding of Agile delivery, DevOps practices, and user-centred design.
Experience defining and delivering test strategies across complex, multi-team programmes.
Hands-on experience with a range of testing types (functional, non-functional, accessibility, performance).
Familiarity with GDS Service Standard, accessibility requirements (WCAG), and service assessment processes.
Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills.
Experience using test management tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, TestRail, or similar.
Ability to manage risks, dependencies, and test resources effectively.
