Senior / Lead ServiceNow Developer (Contract)

Location: London (2 days per week in office – Liverpool Street / Shoreditch)

Rate: Competitive, Outside IR35

Start Date: Immediate – onboarding from 19th

Duration: Until end of April (minimum)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior / Lead ServiceNow Developer to join a London-based engagement on an initial contract through to the end of April. This role will play a key part in delivering and enhancing ServiceNow solutions across multiple modules, while working closely with both onshore stakeholders and offshore delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and deliver ServiceNow development across multiple modules, including:
ITSM
HRSD
Custom Applications
Integrations

Act as a senior technical authority, providing guidance and best practices to developers (including offshore teams)
Design, build, and maintain scalable, high-quality ServiceNow solutions
Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, partners, and delivery teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Ensure solutions align with ServiceNow standards and platform best practices
Support delivery timelines in a fast-paced environment with immediate start requirements

Required Skills & Experience

8–9 years hands-on ServiceNow development experience
Strong experience in a Senior or Lead Developer role
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) qualification (minimum)

Proven experience across:

ITSM
HRSD
Custom application development
Integrations (REST, APIs, third-party systems)

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with:

Senior stakeholders
Partner clients
Offshore development teams
Comfortable working in a hybrid model with regular on-site presence in London

Additional Information

London-based role with 2 days per week in the office

Office located near Liverpool Street / Shoreditch
