About The Role

Egmont IT is looking for a Senior Security Specialist to join our Digital Trust team, the team responsible for IAM and Security across Egmont. In this role, you’ll help strengthen our small, close-knit team of four, which already includes a colleague fully dedicated to security.

What You’ll Do

Design, implement and continually optimize our Microsoft Defender XDR (Endpoint, Identity, Cloud, Office 365)
Manage and develop response playbooks
Continuously monitor and improve detections in Microsoft Sentinel
Strengthen our security posture with vendors such as Azure, AWS, and GCP
Contribute to internal policy frameworks and security guidelines to ensure security by design for other departments within Egmont IT.

What You’ll Bring

Fluency in English and at least one of the Scandinavian languages.
A strong background in IT security.
Background in applications or software development is preferred over pure infrastructure as to better augment the existing team
Strong hands-on expertise across Microsoft security and identity

You should be experienced with as many as possible of the following areas

M365 Security
Entra / IAM Administration
Threat Management
Vulnerability Scanning
DNS
Certificates
Infrastructure as Code
M365 Multi-Tenant management
