Engineering and Technical Internship - Full Time - Birmingham, United Kingdom

Location: UK-wide rotational placements across the UK sites , potential for international travel and the possibility of an international placement

Reporting to: Chief Engineer

Duration: 12 months

Overview

Our 12-month Engineering & Technical Internship offers hands-on experience across Sulzer’s UK facilities. Through rotational placements, you’ll gain exposure to a wide range of engineering disciplines and real-world projects that support our facility of the future strategy. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers, contribute to meaningful initiatives, and build a strong foundation for your future career.

Rotational Placements May Include:

Design Engineering
Industrial Engineering
Process Engineering
Project Delivery

What You Will Be Doing

Support the delivery of engineered solutions for rotating equipment
Identify and recommend process improvements and emerging technologies
Contribute to capital investment cases that enhance productivity and competitiveness
Collaborate with senior engineers to manage project milestones and risks
Provide technical support across Sulzer’s UK operations

What You Will Bring

Working towards or recently completed a degree in mechanical, industrial, or process engineering

Adaptability and willingness to travel across UK sites
A valid passport and full UK driving licence
