Objectives of this role
Understand business and client challenges and identify opportunities where multi-cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP) can drive effective solutions.
Analyze, interpret, and clearly communicate cloud migration and modernization strategies while ensuring cost efficiency and operational excellence.
Main Responsibilities:
Participate in infrastructure design activities, including capacity planning, network flow mapping, and defining Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
Document cloud architecture, network topologies, methodologies, and lessons learned during implementation and migration phases.
Act as a liaison between stakeholders and technical teams, providing feedback and ensuring alignment with project goals and security requirements.
Design, develop, and implement infrastructure automation (IaC) using Terraform, and enhance functionality.
Collaborate closely with data analysts and engineers to optimize CI/CD pipelines and improve overall system performance.
Manage and orchestrate containerized applications using Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, or GKE) to ensure scalability and portability.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for resource provisioning, security policies, deployment, and monitoring.
Test, validate, and continuously improve cloud infrastructure to ensure reliability (SRE) and high availability in real-world applications.
Stay up to date with industry trends, frameworks, and best practices to strengthen the organization’s cloud capabilities.
Design, build, and test scalable cloud solutions capable of processing large volumes of data and delivering actionable insights in a hybrid or multi-cloud environment.
Evaluate and refine resource consumption based on cost analysis (FinOps), data trends, and performance metrics.
Demonstrate hands-on experience with managed services across the three major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform).
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Systems Administration.
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with the three major cloud providers: AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
