Job Title: Senior Operations Support Engineer (Long-Term B2B Contract) – Strasbourg

Are you a seasoned Operations Support Engineer ready to tackle high-severity incidents in complex, interconnected environments?
We are looking for a Senior Operations Support Engineer to join a key team in Strasbourg, working closely with a major client’s IT department.
This is a long-term B2B contract where you will be at the heart of ensuring stability, performance, and proactive oversight of critical production systems.
If you have over 7 years of enterprise IT operations experience, deep expertise in cloud-native and containerized environments, and a passion for solving complex technical challenges, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and resolve high-severity, cross-system incidents with precision and clear stakeholder communication.
Lead technical investigations, root-cause analysis, and post-incident reviews to implement lasting solutions.
Define and enhance monitoring, observability, and performance-baseline strategies.
Coordinate preventive maintenance, environment optimization, and compliance with security baselines.
Validate deployment plans, rollback procedures, and testing strategies with DevSecOps and DBA teams.
What We’re Looking For:
University degree in IT or related field + minimum 7 years of relevant IT experience.
At least 3 years in a senior operational role managing complex incidents and problem investigations.
Excellent hands-on experience with:
Containerized/cloud-native production environments (Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift).
ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Release, Event, Capacity).
Linux/Unix systems, CI/CD integration (GitHub, SonarQube).
Scripting and automation for operational tasks.
IAC tools (Terraform, Bicep, Ansible).
Middleware and integration technologies (API gateways, messaging, event streaming, IAM).
Observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch).
Strong understanding of automation frameworks, version control, and artefact management.
Proven ability to lead technical bridges, communicate clearly, and document effectively.
Excellent command of English (both written and spoken).
Bonus Skills:
Proficiency in French is a strong plus.
