Job Specifications

Type (Contract, C2H): 1 year, possible to extend
Location: Toronto, ON - 3 day on site/ Week
Shift/Core Hours: 37.5
Pay Range: $70 - 77/hr CAD

What are they expected to accomplish on a high level?

Containerization

Deploying the application in pods

Writing scripts in Java or Python

Migrating to the cloud platform (AWS)

This DevOps resource is expected to have excellent communication skills and be a team player. A top performer in this role will meet the following:

Day to day what are the responsibilities?

Stability and improvement on multiple applications

Ensure build process is being effectively done

Customization and improvements in the build process

Reducing the time of the build

Tweaking performance at code level and tool level

CICD - Jenkins, Bit bucket, artifactory, XLR for deployment

Ensure team practices and coding/quality principles are aligned to achieve the desired technology outcomes.

They have built significant experience through multiple software implementations and has developed both depth and breadth in a number of technical competencies.

Must-haves/key skills needed:

10+ years experience

Strong communication & problem-solving

CICD DevOps Tools and Containerization - Jenkins, Bitbucket, Artifactory, XLR for deployment

Coding/ Scripting in Java and Python Scripting (should be able to write scripts on their own).

Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in automation development

Advanced expertise in relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and data modeling.

Experience with RESTful APIs and enterprise integration patterns.
