Senior Data Engineer

Localisation: Hasselt (hybrid)

Language: Flemmish

Responsibilities:

Contribute to a strategic data transformation program with long-term impact
Modernize and evolve a corporate data warehouse
Support a large-scale ERP migration (Microsoft Dynamics)
Design and implement performant, well-structured data models (Kimball, star schemas)
Build and maintain robust Azure data pipelines
Enable business and reporting teams with reliable, high-quality data
Work in a mature data environment where ownership, structure, and quality are key

Profile:

Senior-level experience as a Data Engineer
Strong expertise in data warehouse architecture (Kimball, star schema)
Hands-on experience with: Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, Azure DevOps, The Azure platform in general
Structured, proactive, and ownership-driven mindset
Comfortable collaborating across data, IT, and business teams
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics
Knowledge of Power BI, Synapse, Azure Analysis Services
