Senior Full Stack JavaScript Developer

Salary: Up to £65,000
Working Arrangement: Hybrid 2-3 days p/w onsite in Bristol
Reports to: Director of Technology

We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack JavaScript Developer to join our client in the automotive sector. You’ll be working on their core applications, helping them build scalable and maintainable solutions using a modern JavaScript-based tech stack.

Front-End: Vue.js (or another JS framework), CSS frameworks
Back-End: Node.js, MySQL (Desirable: Java or PHP)
General: Full JavaScript/TypeScript stack for simplicity and consistency

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain scalable front-end applications using Vue.js (or similar JS frameworks)
Build and optimise backend services using Node.js/Deno and MySQL
Ensure responsive, accessible, and performant UI/UX
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise performance across the stack

Requirements:

Commercial experience as a Full-Stack JavaScript Developer in a Senior capacity
Strong proficiency in Vue.js (or another front-end framework like React/Angular)
Solid experience with Node.js for backend development
Proficiency in MySQL and database design principles
Experience working with CSS frameworks (e.g., Tailwind, Bootstrap)
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and best practices for backend services
Ability to write efficient, scalable, and maintainable code
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
