Job Description
You are a student and looking for an internship in BIM? Great! BESIX is looking throughout the year for interns motivated and passionate about large and complex projects.
Example of tasks:
During your internship in our BIM department, you will have the chance to integrate our coordination/BIM modeling teams, performing tasks such as:
Assisting in the creation and modification of BIM models;
Prepare and Extract 2D drawings from BIM models;
Performing clash detection and model checks;
Prepare/proceed to Quantity Take Off;
Assisting with 4D planning;
Supporting the integration of GIS and digital mapping with BIM;
Collaborating with team members to ensure data consistency and accuracy;
Utilizing BIM tools to support project workflows and deliverables;
Compare digital tools;
Collect and centralize all Revit Families.

Qualifications
What if you were BESIX's next talent?
You are pursuing a bachelor/master degree - civil/industrial engineer construction, architect engineer or equivalent;
You have a keen interest in new technologies related to construction and a strong digital mindset;
You have basic knowledge of BIM modeling and cooridnation tools: Revit, Navisworks, Revizto, Kabandy;
You have basic knowledge of parametric and scripting tools: Dynamo, Grasshopper, Python;
Basic knowledge of cloud-based information management platforms (e.g., Autodesk Construction Cloud) is a plus;
Understanding of data and database management principles is a plus;
You wish to do an internship in our study office in Brussels;
Your internship period should be at least 3 full months (preferably 5 full months). Please mention your internship period with your application;
You speak Dutch/French and you have good knowledge of English;
You are analytical, autonomous and driven;
You are communicative, you like to take initiative and you are a real team player;
You are flexible and proactive towards possible problems and challenges.
