Fullstack Software Engineer | AI Startup | NYC (Onsite/Hybrid)

A seed-stage AI team is building smarter, developer-focused tools for OCR and document intelligence. They’re small, fast, and deeply technical — designing smooth inference workflows, clean parsing interfaces, and a platform that helps thousands of engineers build ML-powered products with less friction.

About The Role

You’ll shape the full journey from raw model output to polished user experience. Expect hands-on work across the stack, helping engineers explore, evaluate, and deploy document-understanding systems in real products.

What you’ll work on

Build interfaces that make complex extraction feel clear and intuitive
Move between APIs, inference layers, and UI to improve reliability and performance
Collaborate with founders, users, and the open-source community to refine ML-driven workflows

Compensation

Salary up to $250,000 plus meaningful equity.
