Nexeo is looking for a Senior Solution Architect

To support a large-scale digital transformation, we are looking for an experienced Senior Solution Architect to join an architecture team operating in a new agile landscape.

You will work closely with agile teams, supporting them in delivering robust and innovative solutions aligned with business and stakeholder needs. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with existing legacy systems while bringing modern architectural thinking to transform and improve them.

Your role

As a Senior Solution Architect, you will:

Support agile teams in designing and delivering end-to-end solution architectures.
Design architectures and frameworks aligned with business, data and system requirements.
Document solution architectures, data structures and system requirements across the full lifecycle.
Work with both legacy systems and modern technologies, proposing improvements and transformations.
Act as a liaison between business, IT, management and other stakeholders.
Guide remote solution architects and act as SPOC for the local Chief Architect.
Identify and prioritize critical business functions together with stakeholders.

Your profile

University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience (preferably 10+) in multi-disciplined IT roles.
4–5 years of Solution Architecture experience in large, complex, high-transaction environments.
Strong knowledge of:
Cloud platforms
Architecture design & frameworks
ArchiMate
Mobile applications & websites
Data structures and solution documentation
Awareness of mainframe environments (no deep expertise required).
Broad business understanding.

Nice to have

Experience with advanced technologies (machine learning, data mining, NLP, deep learning).
Knowledge of PSD2, private loans/leasing, card payments, CRM or accounting systems.

Business & regulatory knowledge

Mandatory: GDPR
Preferable: PSD2, financial services domain experience

Languages

Dutch: Good
French: Good
English: Fluent (written & spoken)

Analytical and synthesis mindset
Proactive, autonomous and solution-oriented
Team player, comfortable in large and complex organizations
Ability to manage teleworking and multi-stakeholder collaboration
