Job Specifications

Role: Technology Lead
Location: Cardiff (Hybrid, 3 days WFO)
Contract: 6 months
Experience: Minimum 10 years in technology

Must-Have Qualifications & Skills

Education: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Experience:
1–3 years in system design & cloud technologies
10+ years overall in technology roles
Technical Skills:
.NET Core & C# development
Microsoft Azure services: App Services, Functions, API Management, Azure SQL, Storage, Service Bus, Event Grid, etc.
Microservices architecture & RESTful APIs
Containerization: Docker & Kubernetes
CI/CD pipelines: Azure DevOps or equivalent
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical & problem-solving ability
Excellent communication & documentation skills
Stakeholder engagement & architectural discussion experience

Job Description / Responsibilities

Design and build scalable, secure, high-performance solutions
Expertise in:
Microservices architecture
Event-driven design
Modern application development patterns
Collaborate closely with Client Architects and Business stakeholders
Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and modernization strategies
Preferably experienced in Application Modernization and Application Portfolio Rationalization projects
