Qargo is a tech scale-up with offices based in London and Ghent. We are on a mission to transform the transportation industry by making it more efficient, profitable, and sustainable. Together we are building the most user-friendly and intuitive Transport Management System (TMS) on the market that automates administrative processes and optimizes planning. To help us achieve our mission and support our growth we’re looking for a Software Engineer, especially Frontend.

What You'll Do

You’ll focus on frontend development of our web-based platform, designing and building rich interfaces used by thousands of logistics professionals across Europe.

You’ll work with React interacting with a GraphQL API (Apollo), and with frameworks like Zustand, Ant Design, Linaria, and many more.

You’ll craft intuitive, responsive user experiences, from drag-and-drop interfaces to custom document editors and interactive maps.

You'll optimize the performance and implement best practices to ensure smooth interactions, delivering an exceptional user experience.

You'll be part of a driven and highly talented team with an impressive track record.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve real-world challenges and enhance our product.

What We're Looking For

You have a Master’s degree in IT/Computer Science/Software Engineering and at least 2 years of experience in frontend development.

Passion for solving complex technical challenges and designing scalable software solutions. You understand technical tradeoffs and make pragmatic decisions.

A growth mindset—eager to learn, experiment, and expand your knowledge.

Strong problem-solving and communication skills and to work independently and in a team.

A user-first mentality—you care about the real-world impact of your work.

Enthusiasm for collaborative teamwork and a willingness to share knowledge and accomplish shared goals.

You have experience with React and modern frontend tooling, and a solid understanding of state management and component-based architecture.

You’re familiar with concepts like GraphQL, realtime data, and collaborative UIs.
