Functional Analyst – Consultant - Permanent Contract

Exalt is recruiting, for one of its clients based in Brussels, a Functional & Support Analyst to work on critical business applications in a demanding and collaborative environment.

About the job

As a Functional & Support Analyst, you will act as a key link between business users and technical teams. You will be responsible for translating business needs into clear functional specifications, ensuring application quality through testing, and providing day-to-day support to users. The role combines functional analysis, documentation, and operational support within a production-critical application environment.

Your profile

Minimum 5 years of experience in one of the following roles:

Functional Analyst / Business Analyst / Software Developer / Data Engineer / Data Scientist/ Quantitative Analyst

Strong analytical and structuring skills

Comfortable working with complex, data-driven applications

Good understanding of application lifecycles

Experience or familiarity with:

Python or another scripting language

SQL and Excel

Cloud environments (Azure)

Kubernetes (operational usage)

Fluent English required

French is a plus

Hybrid model – minimum 3 days per week on site in Brussels
