Key Responsibilities
Reporting to a Senior Manager within the Internal Strategy & Consulting function, you will:
Partner with senior leaders to identify, scope, and deliver high-impact strategy and performance improvement initiatives across operations and corporate functions
Lead structured problem-solving and analytical workstreams to diagnose complex business issues and develop pragmatic, data-driven recommendations
Translate analysis into clear, compelling insights that inform executive decision-making
Take end-to-end ownership of defined workstreams, including work planning, milestone management, and final deliverables
Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across multiple business units and geographies
Contribute to continuous improvement of internal consulting tools, methodologies, and ways of working
Coach and support junior team members as appropriate, depending on experience level
Candidate Profile
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
4–7+ years of experience in management consulting or an internal strategy / transformation role within a large, complex organisation
Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities, with experience working on ambiguous, unstructured challenges
Proven ability to synthesize complex information into concise, executive-ready communications
Experience working with senior stakeholders and influencing across functions
A track record of delivering practical, implementable recommendations
Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Business, Economics, or a related discipline
Exposure to asset-intensive industries (e.g., mining, energy, infrastructure, industrials) is advantageous but not required
