Job: Senior Software Engineer

Location: Belfast (Hybrid – 1 day a week in office)

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 plus bonus

Job: Senior Software Engineer

As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll join a newly formed and growing team shaping the future of digital agriculture by developing cutting-edge digital solutions that make a real difference to customers.

We are looking for full-stack engineers coming from predominant Java/Angular background where you will:

Develop & Improve Features - Design and build solutions that make a real impact for users.
Take Ownership - Drive the full development lifecycle, delivering clean, maintainable, and high-quality code.
Engage with Users - Partner with customers and technicians to provide support and gather feedback.
Ensure Quality & Reliability - Produce well-tested, optimized software that performs in real-world conditions.
Collaborate Across Teams – Work closely with developers, testers, and product managers to create impactful, innovative solutions.

What we’re seeking for in candidates?

Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field - or equivalent professional experience.
Proven experience in web application development, with a solid understanding of databases and cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).
Strong focus on quality, reproducibility, and delivering reliable, maintainable solutions.
Collaborative mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

Technology Stack

Backend: Java, Spring Framework, PostgreSQL
Frontend: TypeScript, Angular (happy with React)
