Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated intern to join our Water EU Advocacy team. This role involves supporting our efforts in contributing to EU water-related policies (BWD, DWD, UWWTD, Re-use Water Regulation, etc.) so that public health is a crucial element in all water-related regulatory frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and analyze EU regulatory developments related to water policies.
Assist in the preparation of briefs and position papers on key water and public health issues that also involve microbiological quality.
Participate in meetings and workshops with EU authorities, stakeholders and other relevant parties.
Stakeholder mapping and European Parliament outreach.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in European Affairs, Law or Economics, Political Science, or a related field.
Fluency in German is a must-have requirement
Some prior experience and/or a keen interest in European affairs and policies.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with collaborative platforms like Microsoft Teams and relevant social media tools.
Strong analytical and research skills.
Excellent communication skills and interpersonal abilities.
Fluency in English; French and additional European languages are a plus.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
