We’re seeking an experienced Technology Security Lead to join a major Public Sector programme, supporting the delivery of critical, high-visibility security operations. This is a contract role offering exposure to complex, fast-moving environments where cyber security is mission-critical.

You’ll play a key role in leading security response activities, shaping threat management capability, and strengthening vulnerability management across enterprise systems. This opportunity suits a hands-on security leader who thrives in pressured environments and enjoys working on nationally important programmes.

What you’ll be doing ...

Leading incident response and triage, including investigation, containment, and resolution of security incidents
Driving threat intelligence and alert correlation, turning intelligence into actionable insight
Designing and improving security monitoring and alerting strategies
Owning vulnerability management processes, from identification through to remediation
Working closely with technical and operational teams to improve security posture
Providing leadership and direction within a multi-disciplinary security team

What else we need from you ...

Strong, hands-on experience in Incident Response, Threat Management, and Vulnerability Management
Proven ability to lead security activities in complex or high-risk environments
Excellent analytical, investigative, and decision-making skills
Clear communication skills, able to operate confidently with senior stakeholders
Experience working in government, regulated, or large enterprise environments is highly desirable
